Kaito Kuroba, a normal high school student by day, and a phantom thief by the name of Kaitou Kid by night. He is the star of his own manga series, Magic Kaitou, but also appears in Detective Conan.

Kaito certainly looks very much like Shinichi Kudo. He also has a childhood friend, Aoko Nakamori, whom he has a crush on. Aoko looks a lot like Ran Mouri (Shinichi's "girlfriend"), she likes Kaito as well. Kaito is able to do magic tricks just like his father, who is the previous Kaitou Kid.

Kaitou is certainly very smart. He can pretend to be anybody, and switch his voice without help from any instruments.
